Calendula officinalis
The old-fashioned single-flowered marigold with a dark heart. An easy cut flower with orange flowers and fresh green, fragrant leaves. Finely chopped petals have a sweet, tart taste and are great for use in salads. The marigold is well known in folk medicine. Requires a sunny place and normal to dry soil.
