Helianthus annuus giganteus
Bio Giant Sunflower, annual (the real one) does well against fences but also in groups. Can grow more than 3 meters high. Birds like to eat the seeds. The faded sunflowers are very decorative when dried. Sow the seeds from the end of March to mid-April in a greenhouse, or from mid-April to May directly outside in a seedbed. Plant out 5-6 weeks after sowing.
