The fruits of the Rügen forest strawberry spread a sweet scent. They are edible, but smaller than the culture strawberry. The fruits have a fresh taste; delicious in fruit salads and drinks, syrup and jam. Sow thinly under glass in a seed tray, cover with a thin layer of soil. Germination takes about 30 days. Transplant after emergence. Also suitable for pots.
