Raphanus Sativus
Daikon-cress or sprout vegetable is very easy and quick (5-7 days) to grow all year round. Sow directly on the destination plate, cover the seed with some soil and keep it moist. Can also be sown indoor all year round in nursery trays or on a clean wet cloth or cotton wool, from approx. 15 ºC on the windowsill. When the plants are 3-5 cm high they can be harvested. Delicious in salads or on a rusk with cheese.
